Stop Trump Coalition was founded after the election of US president Donald Trump to challenge his politics of hatred and division. As a UK-based organisation, it has focused on opposing Trump’s visits to Britain, as well as the growth of ‘Trumpist’ policies here, and the possibility of a trade deal with Trump’s US that would threaten our NHS and food standards.

When Trump twice came to the UK, the coalition mobilised hundreds of thousands of people on the streets, in London and across the country. We organised a carnival of resistance, with a simple message: Trump is not welcome here and we will not be divided by his politics of hate.

Our protests grew from thousands on the streets at hours’ notice when Trump launched his ‘Muslim ban’, to a quarter of a million for his big visit.

Now, as Trump’s possible re-election looms, and he makes ominous noises about refusing to leave peacefully, we are still fighting Trump and Trumpism.
